SproutTel SIP & STUN Settings - FAQ

SproutTel SIP Trunks have been tested and confirmed working with a range of SIP enabled products. To find out if your equipment has been tested with SproutTel, please contact our support team on 1300 1 TELCO (83520).

SIP Settings

SproutTel SIP Trunks have been designed to be setup on a range of SIP/VoIP enabled Phones, Phone Systems and Gateway Products

Server:   sip.sprouttel.net

Proxy:     sip.sprouttel.net

Port:        5060

STUN (Session Traversal of UDP through NAT) Settings

In the event that you need to use STUN, we have a dedicated STUN server to help.
Server:    stun.1.sprouttel.net
Port:        3478 / 5060

Audio CODEC Settings

SproutTel recommend using the G711a (PCMA) audio codec for the best possible sound quality with our services.
If you internet quality is diminished, you can try using G729a as it requires lower bandwidth consumption.
